First of all, this child knows he is not allowed on the table. He will sneak on the table when something is just so delectable that he can't resist it though...like a barrel of markers!
Secondly, the markers are supposed to be out of his reach at ALL times. This is a rule that is getting harder for Libby to follow as he is getting more and more mobile.
Thirdly, there is a reason for rule number two. John is NOT to have markers under ANY circumstance. He likes to do art on himself (which is forgivable) and sometimes the walls and tables.
Oh, but he knows he is being photographed today, so he needs to let everyone know what an obedient little boy he is. So, for today, he puts the cap back on immediately.
