Trick or Treat

Libby went trick or treating tonight. She was a little flower. She was just adorable and even got the hang of saying, "Trick or Treat!" It sounded like "twick, tweat." Everyone thought she was adorale and we got to meet a few of the people from our neighborhood as an extra added bonus. What a blast! The only downside...now Libby is going to be wanting candy ALL the time!!! Posted by Picasa

The Never Ending House Search

We looked at houses on the internet today. We also took the time to go check out four of them. What a bust! The houses that we just drool over are way to expensive or too far away from John Deere. We don't have anything to stress about yet though. We haven't sold our Warsaw house yet. I'm not stressing about it. At least we have a house to rent here. With Libby, having a house is SO much better than having an apartment. I'm so glad that God has blessed us so much. I am 100% sure that the perfect house will come on the market here at exactly the same time (or soon thereafter) our house sells. Thank you Lord for your timing and help us to just trust you and know that you have everything under control.

MOO!

Libby knows what a dog, a cat, a bird, a sheep, a horse and a cow say. But her absolute favorite at the moment is a cow. We have a book that has a cat, a cow, a fish and a bird in it. She usually gets all of the sounds right, but for the past few days she has mooed at EVERY page. It is quite cute!

Life in Iowa

Well, we are here...as a family. We've been here for two weeks now...almost three. We are very glad to be together again. We have definitely kept ourselves busy trying to get to know the area and find out what they have to offer. Libby and I have gone to "Toddler Time" at the library, visited the local MOPS, had a blast at a music class called Razzmatazz and daddy joined us to attend a local church service. The search for a church has just begun and we will be pursuing the church God wants us to attend over the next few months. That is not our only search. We have also been looking at houses, houses and more houses. There is one, in particular, that we like, but we just aren't sure yet. We also have the daunting task of selling our own home in Indiana before we can really consider a house here. In God's time!

I want to thank Angie Howett for her wonderful blog and giving me the idea to start one so that we can let everyone back home know how things are out here. Have a blessed day!
