Adding to the Tucker Family

Chris and I have been talking for quite some time about getting the girls kittens. We asked at the Humane Society and they were some insane, riduculous price so we just kept waiting. Today, the kids and I went to a friend's house so that the mommas could scrapbook and they kiddos could play. I mentioned the cat ordeal and my friend said, "Well, you're in luck. We've got three kittens that we are getting ready to list in the paper...and they are FREE!" So, we came home with two new family members...Scarlet and Grey.

The other night as we were getting ready to put the girls to bed, I happened to look out the back window and see a doe. I called to the girls to look out so they could see her, too. They watched with awe as she sauntered through our yard, and as she was just going out of view Libby says...

"Can we make meat out of that?"

Is that Crazy?

So, Chris bought me a sewing machine last month for Mother's Day. I decided that my first project would be an apron. I like circles and stripes, so that is what I chose for my material and off to town (with a little help from my mommy) I went.

Here is the final product! Next up...matching aprons for the girls.
