Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

We have a wig that the kids like to play with once in awhile. Now that Libby is 5 it has been coming out a little more often. We thought we would get John's take on the wig. He sat there and played with that crazy thing on his head for at least half an hour! Doesn't it look like it actually belongs there? He is so much fun at this age where we can do whatever we want with him. We'll see if he lets us take his picture with the wig on in five years!

Riding Pictures

Ride to Town, Lucy!

Libby has always taken after her daddy...and although we don't live on a farm, her love for "farm things" still shines through. Today she has been helping daddy clean the capped garage out and clean up the tractors and has just been all around helpful. So, when daddy saw her sitting on our small lawn tractor, and noticed her legs just might be long enough, he asked if she wanted to give it a whirl. Boy, did she! She probably rode around for half an hour or better. When she was finished she just kept repeating, "I just loved riding the lawn mower," "I am ALL about the mower now!" and "That was just SO cool!"

Libby and Grace have had fun playing with their awesome new sprinkler. Now mommy just needs to figure out how to incorporate geography into the fun!

Oh yeah! I'm supposed to be updating this blog so that I'm not always behind, aren't I? My bad! These are pictures from our visit to Ohio a month ago still. OOPS!!! Anyway, here are my goofy girls getting their picture taken. The last one really isn't that bad. The first one, well, it's still good to see them having fun together. :)
