Stripes and Dots

As you can tell from my blog page...I like stripes and dots. Yesterday I had the chance to get some scrapbooking done and something strange happened. You guessed it...of the four pages I got done they all either had stripes or dots. {Sigh} Well, at least you can make your stripes and dots look creative in many different ways.

Conversation

John is usually my first child awake, but the other morning he somehow managed to be the last. As I heard him fussing, I went to his room. Grace followed me right on in. I uncovered John's bed (we have a blanket over top of it to keep the light from waking him too early) and he kind of ust sat there dazed and confused. Grace, on the other hand, was full of energy. You could tell by the following conversation she had "with" John.

You want cinn(amon) toas(t) Bubby?

{pause}

You do? Mommy, Bubby want cinn(amon) toas(t).

Of course, he just sat there dazed while this quick exchange happened.

Love watching these kids grow!!!

Overboard

Ok, so nobody fell overboard...although there are times where I worry about both John and Grace as they start to climb up the back of my furniture. Do you think it is ok if I swat them like I would a cat? No, they really aren't that bad...anymore. :)

Yeah, can you tell I didn't pick him up like he wanted? Life is, after all...all about John. Don't worry! I picked him up as soon as I took his picture a couple of times. :)
