Such Warmth
Here is a picture of our door jamb on the back door. We woke up to a temperature of -8 F with a wind chill of -40 F this morning. Our house is so well insulated that this is what happens whenever it gets cold. Not to mention that the vent over the stove blows the cold straight in to our house as well. Maybe we'll have a warmer house next winter. We can only hope.

Just for Jenny
Last night we were getting ready to go to church to set up for MOPS and Chris was asking if the doors would be unlocked since there was no All Stars last night. I said that if the doors were locked we could just call Jen (a friend of mine here) because she has a set of keys. Libby looked at me really excitedly and said, "We get to see mine friend, Jenny? Yahoo!" I asked her who she was talking about and she reiterated her friend Jenny. I asked if she meant Indiana Jenny and she said, "Yes! Indiana Jenny! Mine friend Jenny!" I told her that it was Logan's mommy, Jen and she said, "Oh, that's ok." So, Jen, your present to her must have pulled her in. :)

Plodding Along
Speaking of the house, here is our progress from January. Not quite as fast as we would like to see, but patience IS a virtue after all. At this rate, Angie, you will be in your house LONG before us. :)

My Girlie-Girl
In anticipation of our eventual move I decided to start looking at bedding for Libby's room. I found a site with decent prices and cute "girlie" bedding. I liked quite a few of the designs so I called Libby over to see which designs she liked. Yeah...here ya go. NOTHING else was good enough for her. What am I going to do with that little girl? She's out of this world!

Gifts Galore!
These are just a few of the many gifts we received. My mom made the afghan in the top picture and the hats that are on the girls' heads were made by our good friend, Jenny. Just thought I'd share.
To Indiana and Back
Last week we had to make a trip back to Indiana so we had the chance to show Grace off a little bit. Of course, being me, I didn't take the camera in to two of the place I really NEEDED too. So, no pictures of Aunt Grace or Aunt Joanna (or for that matter Aunt Judy) with Gracie Mae. Grrr! Next trip for sure. Anyway, we had really good visits with all three aunts as well as our neighbors and a few friends. I was glad to show Grace off to everyone while she was still young and actually looked like a newborn. It did throw the eating schedule off, but it was well worth it.
The pictures I DID actually get are taken at my Aunt Kathy's (bottom middle picture) house. The second baby in some of the pictures is my cousin's (middle, left picture with his wife Michelle) son, Mason. He was born on the 11th, nine days before Grace. As you can see, he's filled out a little more quickly than Grace. :) My sister, Stephanie (top, left picture + a few more), got to see her for the first time as well. I just love the picture of Grace (middle, right picture) where she is looking up. Last, but not least, after our whirlwind trip, late nights and no sleep because of mucked up sleeping schedules...there is me (bottom, right picture) on the trip home. :)
