Dress Up with Libby

I got an email from a good friend who reads my blog and it reminded me that I needed to make a post or two. Besides, kids Libby's age are too hilarious not to hear from too often, right?

Anyway, we are part of a program called Parents As Teachers and we LOVE it. They visit twice a month and have so many fun, cute things to do that educational as well. This week Kristi brought over dress up clothes. I wondered how well that was going to work...here's how well it worked. Libby LOVED the shoes (or slippers, as she called them) and liked the necklaces...she wouldn't even TOUCH the dresses. I love that little girl. She's so predictable sometimes.

As for the money, I'm not even sure I should tell you about that. Alas, it's too funny not to tell. :) Kristi asked Libby what she was going to spend it on and she said, "A pumper". Kristi gave her a funny look and it took me a second to figure out what she was talking about. Yeah, she wants a pump, just like mommy's. If you're a mom, you know exactly what I'm talking about. She told Kristi that she was going to buy a pumper for her, one for daddy and one for Grace at the college store. Wow! I love kids. I love to hear the things they come up with. It's just so funny!

I LOVED the "pumper" story! When I was in the nursing stage with Isaac, Aaron loved to tell everyone that his milk came from a cow and Isaac's milk came from mommy! :) Nursing definitely creates many questions and much intrigue for older siblings, eh?!! :)
