Old News

When I was younger we always took cookies, or at least acknowledged, our new neighbors. It's just how I grew up. SO, when our next door neighbors finally got to move into their house I asked Libby if she wanted to make cookies for them. She looked through one of her kids cookbooks and found the perfect cookies and we made them. We took them to Tom and Molly the night before we left for Tennessee, though, so it never got blogged. So, here is Libby with Molly showing off her cookies. In the second picture you can see how proud Libby is of her cookies. We absolutely adore Tom and Molly and couldn't ask for better neighbors. For that matter, our whole neighborhood is awesome. Chris swore he'd never live in a subdivision, but with the large lots and the wonderful neighbors, I think even he is happy with where we have landed.

I do too...BUT, they are actually sugar cookies that are made into the shapes of butterflies, caterpillars, flowers, etc. They have REALLY bright frosting on them and then Libby put candy on them to finish them off. :)
