Bible Notebook

I have had so much fun watching as Libby grows in her writing and art abilities. Her Bible Notebook is one of her favorite activities for the mere fact that art is one of her favorite subjects (science being the other favorite). She would be in heaven if she didn't have to write the story summary along with the pictures. Alas, that is part of the assignment. :) Here are a few of my favorite pages.

The creation page. I love how busy it is and how much fun it was to make this over the first few weeks of this activity.

I personally thought of drawing the offerings from Cain and Abel, but Libby didn't blush at drawing Cain killing Abel. I was amused that she put a great big smile on Cain's face. My favorite part of this drawing, though, is the sun's face at the events taking place.

I enjoy when we get to use "special" media for her art. She had fun building the Tower of Babel out of toothpicks.

Once again, I just enjoy the "abnormal" media. Here she used some DMC floss to make a sheath of wheat. Totally her idea!
