Ok, book #5 done in Alexis's challenge. Half way there. This book was written by Gilbert Morris, whom has always been one of my favorite authors, although I've never read a modern day book of his. I really enjoyed this, although for being fresh from Scotland Miss Afton knew quite a bit of her father's movie business. Oh well, you'll have that. A good mystery without being a mystery. I enjoyed it.

He has also written The Gilbert Winslow Series (it starts from a the revolutionary war and moves on through the ages).
He has other series, but I've never read them.
